Jeff Ansley

Jeff Ansley has over eighteen years of experience with renewable energy. His solar career began in East Africa in 1993 with Energy Alternatives. Africa where he installed remote photovoltaic systems and taught residents how to install and service solar equipment. Before founding Natron Resources, Inc., he worked with Sun Light & Power and PowerLight (now Sunpower). He has designed and installed dozens of photovoltaic and thermal systems for both residential and commercial customers, from domestic hot water and PV to multi-megawatt single-axis trackers. In addition to project management and system design experience, he has worked in product design and manufacturing engineering, focusing on balance of system component design and machine design. He holds two patents in the field of solar hybrid collectors. In addition to his renewable energy background, he has a BS in Natural Resources from the University of Michigan, MS from UC Berkeley in water treatment engineering, and a MBA from UC Davis. His passions are whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, and bragging about his natural gas powered Civic. Mr.Ansley is a registered mechanical engineer in California,as well as a registered electrical engineer in AZ,CA,CO,HI,MA,NM,NI,PA and TX.

Rod Shaw

Rod Shaw has been actively involved in the solar industry for 30 years, starting with solar thermal and passive solar heating. For the past 15 years his primary focus has been photovoltaics, with a focus on installation methods and techniques. He has installed PV systems upto 20MW in size in the U.S and Spain. He is currently working on the design of tools and equipment specific to large-scale solar installations. He was Vice President of Sun Light and Power Company until 2000 and still serves as a board member. He joined PowerLight (Sunpower) thereafter and transitioned to Natron Resources in 2008. His interest in energy independence and a clean environment motivates him to solve the energy and security issues we face today.

Chris Stack

Chris Stack has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry focused on corporate profitability and project management. She has managed corporate divisional spending and projects valued up to $500M. For the past 3 years, her primary focus has been on business development and project management. She has designed project profitability and cost models for the solar industry. She holds a BS in Accounting from San Jose State University.

Lori Mitchell

Lori Mitchell has worked in the solar industry for over 10 years. She was a Senior Engineer at SunPower Corporation and has also held positions at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and the California Energy Commission. She has specialized in PV performance modeling and analysis as well as measurement and verification. She has analyzed the performance of hundreds of photovoltaic projects. She is a licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer and has Bachelor’s of Science degree in Environmental Resources Engineering. In addition, she is a LEED Accredited Professional and has authored several industry papers.

Neal Shah

Neal Shah has ten years of experience in structural design, working in a wide range of project types, sizes, and construction materials. His primary experience is in the design and analysis of new structures and seismic rehabilitation of existing structures. He has inspected various structural materials including steel, concrete, wood, masonry, light-gauge steel, and aluminum. Mr. Shah was senior project manager with S.B. Barnes Associates in Los Angeles, California as well as a senior associate with WJE in Los Angeles where he developed a particular expertise in the field of earthquake engineering. During his graduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, Mr. Shah performed extensive research on the dynamic behavior of light-gauge steel and wood-framed shear walls for the City of Los Angeles shear wall project. He is a registered Civil and Structural engineer in California.
